Service Manager - The Donalds Group June2004 > April 2008
I received promotion to service manager in June 2004, I was personally responsible for the successful operation and development of the service department at all levels. This included the recruitment, training, development and measurement of the front of house customer service advisory team, extensive technical team, apprentices, valuators’ and drivers.
I was responsible for all warranty procedures for both Kia and Mazda franchises, service operations, standards, process, customer satisfaction, service plans, marketing, budgeting, staff training and development, human resource activities and the strategic planning and development of the departments profitability forecast.
Instructing service advisor's on up sale responsibilities and motivating the entire team towards success.
By using my ability to measure and drive my department from KPI and management account information I was able to not only obtain a territory number one position for customer satisfaction but also achieve an overhead absorption level in excess of 100%.
Workshop Controller – Garneys & Hill Ltd January2004 > July 2004
I received promotion to Workshop Controller in January 2004 after demonstrating excellent skills in motivating and quality control standards. My responsibilities expanded to full control of the workshop, workshop loading, assisting with service advice, and technical support for customers.
Senior Technician – Garneys & Hill Ltd June1999 > January2004
I received promotion to Senior Technician with the extra responsibility of two technicians and the valuating staff.

My employment started at Garneys and Hill straight from school on a training scheme with RTT. There I gained various technical knowledge in different franchises.
